Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup milk


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  • In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, melted butter, and sugars until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then stir in the mashed bananas.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or chocolate chips to the batter.
  • If using natural peanut butter, you may need to add a little more milk for consistency.
