This Peanut Butter Banana Bread combines the rich, creamy flavor of peanut butter with the natural sweetness of ripe bananas for a moist, tender loaf. It’s perfect for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup melted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, melted butter, and sugars until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then stir in the mashed bananas.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or chocolate chips to the batter.
- If using natural peanut butter, you may need to add a little more milk for consistency.
