- 1 ½ cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
3. For the Bake:
- 12 oz egg noodles, cooked al dente
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Make the Meatballs: Mix all meatball ingredients in a bowl and shape into small balls.
- Cook the Meatballs: Sear in butter and oil until browned, then set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then slowly add beef broth and cream. Stir in Worcestershire, mustard, nutmeg, and cheese. Simmer until thick.
- Cook the Noodles: Boil noodles until al dente, then drain.
- Assemble: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Layer cooked noodles in a greased baking dish, pour the sauce over, and place the meatballs on top. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes, then sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
