- 5 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 12 Oreos, finely crushed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two or three 8-inch cake pans.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
- Mix in dry ingredients alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
- Fold in crushed Oreos. Divide batter into pans and bake 30–35 minutes. Cool completely.
- Make frosting by beating butter, then adding powdered sugar gradually. Mix in cream, vanilla, and finely crushed Oreos.
- Assemble cake with frosting between layers. Apply crumb coat, chill, then finish frosting. Decorate with whole Oreos or sprinkles.
