Description
This one-pan meal brings together juicy chicken and buttery noodles in a comforting, easy-to-make dish. Perfect for busy weeknights, it combines simple ingredients with rich flavors to create a meal that feels special without taking hours to prepare.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Once melted, cook the garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add the noodles to the broth and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the noodles. Add the remaining butter and stir to combine. Cook until the butter is melted and everything is well mixed. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try using grass-fed butter and adding a splash of white wine to the broth.
- If the noodles soak up too much liquid while cooking, add more chicken broth or water as needed.
