3. Other Ingredients:

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Make the Meat Sauce: Brown the beef and sausage in a pan. Add onions and garlic, cook for 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, sauce, paste, and seasonings. Simmer for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: Mix cream cheese, ricotta, sour cream, egg, and Parmesan in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Cook the Noodles: Boil lasagna noodles until al dente. Drain and lay flat.
  4. Assemble the Lasagna: Layer sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, and mozzarella in a baking dish. Repeat layers.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
