Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie or homemade)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
- 4 tbsp butter (melted)
- Optional: chopped bacon or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- 
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. 
- 
In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth. 
- 
Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. 
- 
Fold in shredded chicken and cheddar cheese. 
- 
Spread mixture evenly in baking dish. 
- 
In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole. 
- 
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top. 
- 
Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving. 
Notes
Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting results.
Add a splash of chicken broth if mixture feels too thick before baking.
For added flavor, stir in cooked chopped bacon or green onions.
