  • 3 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie or homemade)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crushed)
  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Optional: chopped bacon or green onions for garnish

 


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, and cream of chicken soup until smooth.

  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Fold in shredded chicken and cheddar cheese.

  5. Spread mixture evenly in baking dish.

  6. In a small bowl, mix crushed crackers with melted butter and sprinkle over casserole.

  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.

  8. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.

 

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for best melting results.

Add a splash of chicken broth if mixture feels too thick before baking.

For added flavor, stir in cooked chopped bacon or green onions.
