  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 3-4 fresh jalapenos, diced
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions or chives for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Dice jalapenos, remove seeds if desired.
  • Cook bacon until crisp and chop into small pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Beat until smooth.
  • Stir in cheddar, Monterey Jack, and diced jalapenos. Fold in most of the bacon.
  • Spread mixture evenly in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle remaining bacon on top.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with green onions or chives. Serve warm with chips, bread, or vegetables.
