Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, gently combine all ingredients without overmixing.
- Divide mixture into four equal portions. Shape into patties about ¾ to 1 inch thick.
- Press a shallow dimple in the center of each patty.
- Chill patties for 5–10 minutes to firm.
- Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- Add cheese in the last minute if desired.
- Let rest for 3 minutes before serving.
