- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Beat eggs and sugar together until fluffy, then add oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- While the cake bakes, prepare the caramel filling by melting butter, brown sugar, and sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan.
- Let the cake cool slightly, then roll it up in a towel and cool completely.
- Unroll the cake, spread the caramel filling, and sprinkle with toasted pecans. Roll it back up and refrigerate.
- Drizzle with chocolate ganache made from chocolate chips and heavy cream
