Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour blend
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve honey in warm water, then sprinkle the yeast over it. Let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, salt, and baking powder.

  3. Add the yeast mixture, olive oil, and vinegar to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms.

  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead gently for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

  6. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it in a greased loaf pan. Let rise for another 30 minutes.

  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  8. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Be sure to use a gluten-free flour blend designed for bread baking for the best results.
  • If you prefer a sweeter bread, you can add a tablespoon of sugar along with the yeast mixture.
