  • 2 pounds chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon wedges


Instructions

  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  • In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange on a wire rack over a lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket.
  • Bake at 425°F for 40–45 minutes or air fry at 400°F for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Remove from heat and stir in parmesan.
  • Toss hot wings in garlic butter sauce until well coated.
  • Garnish with extra parmesan, parsley, or chili flakes.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dip.

Notes

  • For crispier wings, finish under the broiler for 2–3 minutes.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness or a pinch of red pepper for heat.
