Description

Summary: Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches are a fun and indulgent dessert that combines the rich, creamy filling of cheesecake with the sweetness of fresh strawberries, all nestled between crispy, buttery bread. This delightful treat is perfect for a special occasion or whenever you’re in the mood for something sweet and comforting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 23 tbsp heavy cream or milk (for desired consistency)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 4 slices of thick bread (brioche, challah, or Texas toast)
  • 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate syrup, additional strawberries

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. Add heavy cream or milk to reach desired consistency.
  2. Slice strawberries and set them aside. Prepare the bread by cutting thick slices.
  3. Spread a generous amount of cheesecake filling on one slice of bread, top with sliced strawberries, and place another slice of bread on top.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Sprinkle with granulated sugar while still hot. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream or extra strawberries.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the sugar coating.
  • Chill the cheesecake filling before spreading for a firmer texture.
