Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Step 1: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Sear the chicken in a skillet with melted butter over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side, then remove from the skillet.
  • Step 2: In the same skillet, sauté the garlic and onion in butter until softened. Stir in the rice, then add the chicken broth. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
  • Step 3: Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and Parmesan cheese. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the sauce has thickened.
