Ingredients

  • 4 oz crab meat (fresh or imitation)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 egg (for sealing)
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Place 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Seal the wrappers by folding them into a triangle or pouch shape, using a bit of water to help seal the edges.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry Crab Rangoon for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy, turning occasionally.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

  • For extra crispiness, double fry the Crab Rangoon.
