Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk (for glaze)


Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  • In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and granulated sugar.
  • In another bowl, beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients gently; don’t overmix.
  • Heat a greased skillet over medium heat. Pour ¼ cup batter per pancake.
  • Drizzle cinnamon sugar in a spiral on each pancake and swirl with a toothpick.
  • Cook 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook 2 minutes more.
  • Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over warm pancakes.

Notes
