  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the chicken breasts in butter until fully cooked. Shred the chicken into small pieces.
  3. Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares. Add the chicken mixture in the center.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
