Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 bell peppers (mixed colors)
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken strips and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onions for 2-3 minutes. Add bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet. Add paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the dish and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
