  • 2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken strips and sear until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onions for 2-3 minutes. Add bell peppers and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Add paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Squeeze lemon juice over the dish and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
