Description

These Caramel Apple Blondie Cheesecake Bars are a fall-inspired dessert that combines buttery blondies, rich cheesecake, and caramelized apples. A perfect treat for any occasion, these bars are easy to make and incredibly delicious.

1. For the Blondie Layer:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

2. For the Cheesecake Layer:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

3. For the Caramel Apple Topping:

  • 3 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Make the blondie layer by mixing the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Pour into the pan and spread evenly.
  • For the cheesecake layer, beat the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, eggs, and vanilla together. Pour over the blondie batter.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set. Cool completely.
  • Prepare the caramel apple topping by cooking apples, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes. Pour over the cooled bars.
