- 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Step 2: Mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss shrimp in the mixture, coating evenly.
- Step 3: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Step 4: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lemon juice to make the Bang Bang sauce.
- Step 5: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, toss with half the sauce, and add pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Step 6: Add the crispy shrimp, drizzle with the remaining sauce, and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Double fry the shrimp for extra crunch.
- Adjust the spice level to suit your taste by adding more or less sriracha.
