Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tubs (8 oz each) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided
  • 34 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • Chocolate syrup, for drizzling
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9×13-inch dish. Chill.

  2. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 tub of whipped topping. Spread over crust.

  3. Layer sliced bananas evenly.

  4. Top with drained crushed pineapple and strawberries.

  5. Prepare pudding with cold milk and let it set. Spread gently over fruit layer.

  6. Add remaining whipped topping on top and smooth out.

  7. Sprinkle nuts, drizzle syrup, and garnish with cherries.

  8. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Notes

  • For a sturdier crust, bake it for 8 minutes at 350°F and let cool before adding layers.
  • Use clear glass to showcase the layers for presentation.
  • Swap in flavored pudding or fruit for seasonal twists.
