Description

Banana Bread Chocolate Chip: A soft, moist, and chocolatey twist on classic banana bread. This recipe combines the natural sweetness of ripe bananas with melty chocolate chips, making it the perfect treat for breakfast, a snack, or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup (115g) butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) white sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100g) brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • Mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Add the melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best flavor and moisture.
  • Store at room temperature for 2–3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
