- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or grease lightly with olive oil.
- Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Make the seasoning mix: In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat the fillets with the seasoning mixture, making sure to cover all sides.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2 minutes of baking.
- If using frozen cod, thaw completely and pat dry before cooking.
- Adjust seasonings to taste—add red pepper flakes for a bit of heat!
