  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3-4 firm apples, peeled, cored, and sliced

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare crust by combining graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until creamy. Fold in sour cream.
  • Cook apples in butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice for 5-7 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Pour cheesecake filling over cooled crust. Arrange apple slices on top. Drizzle with remaining apple sauce.
  • Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 50-60 minutes until set around edges and slightly jiggly in the center. Cool for 1 hour.
  • Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes
