Description

A quick, healthy, and delicious chicken dinner made in the air fryer, topped with a tangy whole grain mustard sauce. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—this meal is perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh herbs (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket. Cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • While the chicken cooks, whisk together the mustard, honey, and vinegar to make the sauce.
  • Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Drizzle the mustard sauce over the chicken and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • To keep the chicken juicy, be sure not to overcook it.
